SomeSuch

I'll probably have the next comic ready by either the middle or end of this week. The style is, like the site, going to change a little. Mainly the characters' heads are going to be smaller, and they'll be overall more anatomically correct. I strive toward a sort of simplified realism with Somesuch, as some of you may know. If you prefer the "cuter" style, that's your perogative--I don't know which I like better yet, but I have a hunch that it's going to be the more realistic style. If nothing else, then getting the anatomy of the figures more correctly should enable me to warp them in more interesting ways in the future.

In the meantime, I may start writing up scripts to go along with the comics. This way, should I miss a comic, I could still give you a script. I know comics are better, but sometimes I don't have time. I could probably write something faster than I could draw it, and then at least the plot could keep going and I wouldn't feel so much as if I were cheating the few readers I have. Also, this will encourage me, perhaps, to write better for Somesuch, which would not be a bad thing in the least.

Although I know that Somesuch has a set ending, at least for the present plot, the comic itself may not end for a very long time. It remains to be seen whether there will be anything else of interest to write about the characters beyond the ending of this particular storyline, which has been split into chapters more by my ability than by anything else, I suppose.
